Committee Description:

The Sixth Committee, as the primary legal body of the United Nations General Assembly, is dedicated to the progressive development and codification of international law. Under this agenda, the Committee will deliberate on strengthening mechanisms that promote accountability and ensure justice for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Delegates will examine existing international legal instruments, discuss the enhancement of inter-state cooperation, and explore viable legal remedies for victims, all while upholding the principles of sovereignty, justice, and the rule of law.
